Pup of the month
We are now recruiting puppies from anywhere in the UK/ROI, of any breed or cross-breed. If your puppy is under 16 weeks of age please consider signing up, and joining the Generation Pup community. You could help us to make Generation Pup a once in a lifetime study with benefits for all of dogdom! Plus your puppy could be chosen as ‘Pup of the Month’.
Project news
We are delighted to announce that Hester’s owner (Bek) and Saffie’s owner (Winifred) have each won themselves an iPad Air 2 tablet! Congratulations and thank you to everyone who is completing our questionnaires!
This competition was run to thank our owners for their commitment to Generation Pup. In order to be entered into the competition participants needed to:
1) Have a dog registered on the study by the 30th June 2018
2) Have completed and submitted online/returned by post a questionnaire between the 1st March and 30th June 2018 for that dog.
The owners of the first two dogs randomly selected from all dogs fulfilling the above criteria won an iPad.
This is Paddy. His owner had these words to share with us about Paddy: “He is a very affectionate pup who is full of energy and loves to play. He has just started agility and loves the tunnels!” We are so grateful to Karen (Paddy’s owner) and Paddy for their participation in the Generation Pup research project.
You have all heard of Dog of the Month… well, as of next month, we will be starting Owner of the Month and you could now be in with the chance of winning each month.
Every winner can pick either a handy Dogs Trust gift for themselves, or a fun toy for their dog. We will randomly select one fabulous Generation Pup owner who has completed their most recent questionnaire each month as Owner of the Month. Winning owners will be notified by email.
Remember to complete your questionnaire if you have one ready, and you could be the winner of July’s Owner of the Month!

Finding recruits for Generation Pup is a vital part of the success of the project. That is why we have created this film to help spread the word about the project.
Please watch some of our Generation Pup dogs starring in our new animation film! This video will soon be displayed in veterinary practices across the country to help us recruit lots more puppies to the study. Please share everyone and help us make a real difference.
This is Willow a big and bouncy Bernese Mountain Dog. Her owner had these words to share with us: “Willow is a gentle giant. She is extremely affectionate and sweet-natures, even though she is going through a mischievous phrase. She always has a cheeky Bernese Mountain Dog grin so you can’t stay cross with her for long!”. We are so grateful to Eirian (Willow’s owner) and Willow for their participation in the Generation Pup research project.
