Meet Dave, Generation Pup’s very first Pup of the Month!!! By providing data about Dave, his owner Sharon is making a difference to dog welfare. Sharon had this to share about the lovely Dave…”Dave is a typical collie, a joy and naughty in equal measure. He is a slipper stealer, bedding plant destroyer and enjoys nothing more than to gambol through the long grass. Each day is “interesting” and I am loving every minute of our journey together.”
We are so excited to have the first puppy registered for Generation Pup! Lucy heard about the project soon after it was launched and wanted to get her gorgeous 10 week old Miniature Dachshund Maisie signed up straight away. Lucy told us “Maisie and I are really excited that Maisie is going to be the first puppy registered for the Generation Pup project! We’re looking forward to following the project through”. We can’t wait to hear all about Maisie as she grows up!

Everyone at Generation Pup HQ is completely in love with Baloo, a Pyrenean Mountain Dog belonging to Michelle, one of the Generation Pup team. Check out his starring role in the Generation Pup videos! He is a gorgeous gentle giant (and giant fluffball – we are all wearing some of Baloo’s hairs!).
Baloo has been an invaluable part of the project, and along with his big brother Tully (a 7 year old ex-guide dog Labrador) has starred in most of the Generation Pup videos.
Baloo will grow to be over 55kgs but luckily he is a willing, responsive and bright puppy. We all look forward to following his progress, but also can’t wait to hear about all the other puppies who register on Generation Pup!
Rachel and Michelle are busy preparing for the launch event for Generation Pup. They have been working really hard to get everything ready to take up to London to celebrate the launch of Generation Pup with the help of our friends at Dogs Trust. Of course Tully and Baloo are providing invaluable help as ever!
After months of hard work and preparation, we are are so excited that the Generation Pup survey is now live and ready for puppy owners to sign up. Please help us spread the news – we are looking to recruit as many puppies as possible to help us with this exciting new adventure in canine science! Owners need to be 16 years of age or older and living in the UK, and have a puppy of 16 weeks or under when they register. Puppies can be of any breed or cross breed.
